On the toolbar above, click on the drop down menu under the heading Forum Actions. Then click on Edit Profile from that menu. A new window will open up allowing you to make changes. Click on Edit Avatar. You will be given a standard choice of available avatars or you can try create your own custom avatar. That should help take care of you. Enjoy!

is your avatar the same as your profile picture? In other words I have an avatar but is that what shows up as the picture next to my posts. ? J-Poker i feel dumb too hah I joined this site almost exactly a year ago.
